The night before Halloween... DIY costume, please!

Let's face it, with a "big girl job" and a "big girl life," is it still appropriate to dress up in an outfit that is way too tight and not keeping me nearly warm enough?

I literally had zero ambition earlier this week to find a costume that was classy, yet playful. Thoughtful, but still cute.

After a few days of mulling over the subject (the week of Halloween), I resorted to a copycat method: I searched all of my favorite blogs. Luckily, my friends at Brit+Co pulled right through. Drum roll please... Johnny Cash and June Carter.

Here is my take on this clever, fun and age appropriate costume:
