Moreloveletters.com

If it hasn't been stated before, I'm in love with love. Like really. Love in any form I'm usually obsessed with. I'm also in love with writing. Writing notes, writing letters, writing lists, writing essays, writing blogs about my own ramblings....

So what's the point, Jordan, get to it.

Two weeks ago I was introduced to the coolest, nicest, and most refreshing idea I had seen in a while. It's call moreloveletters.com and it's the easiest way to give of yourself once a month. How the site works is pretty straight forward. You sign up, the company contacts you via email, and you write back an introductory response about yourself. After that, each month they will send you a "bundle" of people who need a love letter. Typically, family members and friends will submit their loved ones who they feel could use a little extra something special that month. Examples of "bundles" could include: Someone who has just been diagnosed with Cancer, who has recently served over seas, or has simply experienced a bad break up.

This month I put pen to paper (or actually greeting card) and explained to three strangers how incredible they are and how awesome their life can be. It was amazing.

Even if you are not obsessed with love, or writing isn't your favorite hobby, I think we can all agree there is no better feeling than giving of yourself. If you are looking to start a new routine that helps others in need then I highly suggest moreloveletters.com. It costs barely any money or time. All you need is a pen, some paper, and a big heart that you are willing to share with some you will probably never meet.
