Sunset

If the title didn't already give it away, this post is about a beautiful sunset I got to capture on my way back to Denver from my little-cozy home town. Growing up on the eastern plains you don't necessarily realize the magic we get from the sky every evening (or at least I didn't). But now that I'm older I have found new appreciation for smaller things that I may have over-looked in my quest to escape farm town living.

All of these photos were taken from my iPhone, there is no filter or Instagram added (unless you count my bug smeared windshield). That should give you a small indication of how incredible this drive actually was. Between the curve of the earth displayed on the Great Plains and the mountain tops that painted the sky, I will simply state that it was breath taking.

I truly believe I am blessed enough to live in one of the most gorgeous places on earth.
