keep moving!

Wow- how is it that the last time I posted to my "new age" diary was in November?! Literally, if someone could explain to me why time moves so quickly, I would be more than willing to listen with very open ears. Nonetheless, I have dropped the ball once again on being punctual and current on my blog. This time, however, I am not going to beat myself up. In the past few months I have grown, accomplished a lot, and legitimately lived my life. I rekindled a friendship, which has grown into a new roommate (soon), graduated college (Bachelor of Arts), and have officially began a another wedding season with Alexan Events (the time getting paid, holla!)

Life is good. And while I am content, very content, I am by no means looking to settle just quite yet. This summer I embark on beginning my Masters program. I love learning, being up-to-date on current topics, and overall being a student. I am excited to continue my education and ultimately widen the door to more opportunities. Aside from career and life-long goals, in the short term I have started to finally pursue my passion of making things "flee market chic". I love, LOVE, restoring old furniture, hunting for unseen treasures, and painting. Spray paint is definitely my weapon of choice. To me, there is nothing more fun than creating something beautiful all by yourself (and doing it for cheap). I have also decided to get back to my roots and work on my music. I mean, how hard can it be to learn guitar? Haha-let the fun begin!
